D'vash Snickers


What's better than homemade candy? Homemade candy that's refined sugar free! 
These snickers bars have only six ingredients and are easier to make than you think. 

Bottom ingredients:
1 cup almond flour
3 TBS date syrup
1/4 tsp salt

Caramel ingredients:
1/3 cup peanut butter
3 TBS date syrup 

Other ingredients:
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 TBS coconut oil

1. In a medium sized bowl mix together your bottom ingredients until thoroughly combined
2. Add your mixture to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and press it down to form a crust
3. Next, mix together your caramel ingredients in a small dish
4. Spread your caramel layer over your crust until smooth
5. Sprinkle peanuts on top of your caramel layer, gently press then down, and then place the loaf pan in the freezer
6. After several hours, remove your loaf pan from the freezer 
7. Remove your dessert from the loaf pan and slice it into 6-8 evenly sized bars
8. Next, melt together 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 1 TBS coconut oil, on the stovetop or in the microwave
9. Carefully coat each bar in melted chocolate and place them on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper
10. Refrigerate or freeze your snickers bars until hardened. Enjoy straight from the fridge or freezer!

Recipe Notes:
•If you need to keep the recipe sugar free, use sugar free chocolate chips!
•If you are allergic to peanuts, you can use any other nut/nut butter!
