½ cup melted vegan butter
3/4 cup D’vash date syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
½ cup chocolate chips / chopped chocolate

1. Whisk together the melted butter, date syrup, vanilla
2. Mix in the dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking soda)
3. Fold in the chocolate chips/chunks
4. Form into a ball and cover with a kitchen towel/tinfoil and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 350F
6. Place 1-2 tbsp sized scoops of dough on a parchment lined cookie sheet. For crispier cookies, flatten the dough to achieve a larger, thinner cookie.
7. Bake for 11-13 minutes
8. For best results let cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
