Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
There are thousands of chocolate chip cookies recipes out there. Everyone has their favorite and this is ours!
These are perfectly soft, chewy and buttery, and are loaded with chocolate chips - just the way they should be.
Ingredients:
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 3/4 cup date syrup
- 1 large egg room, temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup AP flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
How to:
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine together the melted butter and date syrup until combined.
- Add in vanilla extract and egg, and mix
- Add dry ingredients and combine to form a dough
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Refrigerate your dough for 20-30 minutes
- Once cooled, roll into balls and flatten
- Cook for 9-11 minutes
- Cool on a wire-rack and enjoy!
