Apple Pie Spiced Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are more than just a trend. They are a great grab-and-go breakfast option that will keep you full until lunch. 
They are so easy to make - no baking required.  Whether you’re making a single serving or 5 days worth of breakfast, overnight oats is a meal prep savior.
Ingredients:⁠

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats⁠
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk⁠
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tbsp date syrup⁠
  • 2 tbsp almond butter⁠
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon⁠
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves⁠
  • 1 tsp vanilla⁠

For the topping⁠:
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced⁠
  • 1 tsp D'vash date syrup⁠
  • 1 tsp cinnamon⁠
Directions:⁠
1. In a small saucepan, add the diced apples, date syrup, ad cinnamon⁠
2. Cook apples on a low flame until soft - about 8 minutes⁠
3. Turn off the heat and put aside⁠
4. In a small bowl, mix together oats, date syrup, and plant based milk⁠
5. Add in almond butter, vanilla, and spices, and mix to combine⁠
6. Portion into two glasses or jars⁠
7. Top with your cooked apples⁠
8. Cover and refrigerate overnight⁠

Optional: decorate with cinnamon stick
