Apple and D'vash Cake

Your classic apple cake got an upgrade. Cue Apple and D'vash Cake. Gluten and dairy free, and can be made vegan!
This cake comes out moist and is the percent Rosh HaShana dessert.
Ingredients:
4 Apples peeled and sliced thinly (we like Macintosh)
1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 cup D'vash Date Syrup
1 cup gluten free flour
1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
4 eggs, beaten (can sub flax eggs)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit

2. Line a springform pan with Parchment Paper and spray with oil
3. Mix the applesauce, date syrup, coconut, and eggs. Add the sliced apples and coat
4. Fold in the gf flour, baking powder, and cinnamon
5. Pour mixture into the prepared pan

6. Arrange the apples into a geometric pattern (optional)
7. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden on the top.
8. Allow to cool and run a knife around the sides to loosen
